Planet Alpha's Network Backup provides a simple, flexible and highly available location to store your backup and archive data to ensure that it is available in the event of user error or hardware failure.
Formerly known as "NAS", Network Backup is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) array that can be directly accessed over Ethernet using standard IP protocols such as CIFS (using Samba) and FTP. Network Backup can be accessed from any server you have hosted at Planet Alpha.
